In this exercise you'll be slowly tensing each muscle group starting with at your feet and working up eventually to your face. This helps you become more aware of your bodies different sensations and is often used by people that are about to go to bed because it relaxes your whole body and you can do it while you're laying down.
How to Do
Just lay down on the floor and slowly tense your toes for 5 seconds and then let go and let them relax and then move up your body to the next group of muscles in the legs and so on up to the arms and the abdomen until your whole body is relaxed, when you get up from this meditation make sure to get up slow because sometimes your body is so relaxed that some people can stumble and fall because they tried to stand up really fast and their relaxed muscles weren't ready for it right away which is another reason a lot of people do this one before bed instead of say in the middle of the day on a lunch break. The last picture in this group orders them from 10 which is the first thing you do to 1 which is the last thing in the relaxation technique that you do.
